It is a genuine honour to serve as Chair for the centre for 2026/2027. I have been actively involved on the committee for the past 12 months, and also previously served for a further two years, which has given me a strong appreciation of the work we do together.

I firmly believe in a forward-looking approach, where we are never content to stand still, but instead continually look for ways to learn, develop, and improve on what has already been achieved.

I would also like to express my sincere thanks to my colleagues for their continued dedication and hard work as volunteers throughout the year. Your commitment makes a real difference, and I am hopeful that we can build on this momentum as we continue to strengthen the Gloucestershire centre for the benefit and enjoyment of all our members.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting 2027 rally programme, which many of you will already have seen. This programme has been shaped by your suggestions and feedback, and I hope it reflects your ideas and interests.

Finally, I look forward to seeing many of you at next year’s rallies, whether as participants or perhaps even taking on the organisation of them. Above all, I remain committed to making a positive difference in the year ahead.
